Best Practices for Metal Recycling

The common practices followed for metal recycling are:

  • Test your scrap metal with a magnet, sort magnetic (ferrous) from non-magnetic (non-ferrous). Generally, non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass, aluminum, and stainless steel have a higher return than ferrous.
  • Using containers, bins, or garbage bags try to separate your different non-ferrous metals. If you have a large amount of scrap metal, call us for scrap metal bins or pick up service.
  • Our team will weigh each grade of metal and pay you accordingly. Based on the market, prices change weekly, so call us for a quote.

Q: Can we buy car or truck parts from you?

A: Presently, we do not sell car or truck parts. We only accept scrap metal and pay you for auto parts, construction building materials, and household appliances.

Q: Do you do free pick ups?

A: We do offer pick up services for large quantities of metal in the Fraser Valley area. Depending on the weight of the load, we use the equipment. Please fill out our form, or call us during business hours to inquire.

Q: Can we drop off large home appliances for recycling?

A: Yes! We are happy to responsibly dispose of your old stoves, ovens, fridges, freezers, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and more.
